Who am I?
I am a 25 year old IT professional and currently work for a local government department as a Service Desk Analyst (technically my title is Help Desk Analyst but Service Desk is the correct ITIL term).
I currently possess the following industry recognized certifications:
- Certified Novell Administrator (NetWare 5.1)
- Microsoft Certified Professional (Windows 2K Pro)
- CompTIA A+
- ITIL Foundations
I have recently taken an interest in open source technologies and have ventured into the world of Linux and other open source software. I’ve also recently joined the Haiku community as a general helper and I’ve taken on some admin duties on the Waltercon (official Haiku conference) and Haikuware websites. For those of you who don’t know what Haiku is, it’s basically an attempt to recreate, and build on, the once migthy Be Operating System.
This site is intended to be my personal blog so what you see here is just my personal opinion and that is it. I currently run various other websites. They are listed below (in no particular order).
