I left my job after 10 yrs and went back to school. I really started hating my job and the people who I worked with, there was a lot of petty bullshit, which you can never get away from no matter what job you have. The best idea I could come up with was to start my own business in the technology sector and that's what I am doing right now. The last 4 yrs have been tough because I was the old guy in the classroom and I have not worked much, hopefully it will all pay off soon. Good luck to you in getting out. I sure know how you feel.
